The ceremony is planned outdoors in the White Garden at The Graylyn Estate. Staff will be on hand to guide guests upon arrival. In the event of rain, the ceremony will move indoors.
Prelude music begins at 4:00 PM, and the ceremony begins at 4:30 PM. We recommend arriving around 4:00 PM and being seated by 4:15 PM.
Black tie optional. Tuxedos and formal dresses are warmly welcomed, and a suit and tie or cocktail attire is equally appropriate. We kindly ask that guests avoid wearing white, ivory, or cream, as those colors are reserved for the bride.
We are having an unplugged ceremony and kindly ask that phones and cameras stay tucked away. Our photographers and videographers will capture every moment, and we will gladly share the photos afterward.
While we love your little ones, this will be an adults-only celebration.
Due to limited space, we are only able to accommodate the guests named on your invitation when you RSVP.
Yes. Complimentary self-parking is available at The Graylyn Estate, and staff will be on hand to assist if needed.
We are not planning to provide guest transportation. Please plan to arrange your own transportation to and from the airport, hotels, and the venue.
Our official wedding weekend hotel is the Kimpton Cardinal in downtown Winston-Salem. The discounted wedding room block is now closed, but guests can still book the Kimpton directly at the hotel’s current public rates. On-site rooms at The Graylyn may also be available.
Piedmont Triad International Airport (GSO) is closest, about 30 minutes away. Charlotte Douglas International Airport (CLT) is another option, about an hour and fifteen minutes away, with more flight availability.

Yes. All wedding guests age 21 and older are welcome to join us for an informal afterparty around 11:00 PM at Dram & Draught, 486 North Patterson Avenue, Suite 120, Winston-Salem, NC 27101. Two tables will be reserved for our group, but additional space is not guaranteed. This is a no-host gathering, so drinks are available for individual purchase. Please arrange your own transportation to and from the bar.
Yes. Food and drinks will be provided throughout the evening.
